Problem Statement
A government agency focused on education, research, and policy development in the realm of credit and finance engaged Redflank to conduct two impact assessments pertaining to the agency's educational and investigative initiatives.
Project Objective
The objective of this Project was to perform the second impact assessment on the implementation of the approved activities on the utilisation of the funds and provide a report for the period of 2021/22 to 2023/24.
Approach
Redflank executed an extensive Impact Assessment, which included interviews with consumers, credit providers, debt counselors, attorneys, and industry associations. Additionally, the assessment involved a thorough review of the entire debt counseling process, examining the roles of all relevant stakeholders. The approach incorporated both primary and secondary research methodologies as outlined by the client, emphasising stakeholder contributions to the Debt Counseling Program while identifying potential areas for improvement.
The findings from the assessment were subsequently presented to senior management, highlighting the effectiveness of their consumer education initiatives and the debt counseling process
